Terramonitor joins the Destination Earth project

Terramonitor is a subcontractor for the Forest Digital Twin Component project funded by the European Space Agency ESA and led by the VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. The project will develop the European Digital Twin Destination Earth (DestinE) platform. Terramonitor is responsible for the technical integration and implementation of the project for the platform under development. The ambitious project includes several DTC projects with different themes, the goal is to develop a digital twin covering the Earth and to image the entire world for business and research use. The development project is led by VTT and in addition to Finland, it involves actors from Spain, Portugal, Germany and the Czech Republic.

Terramonitor has previous experience with ESA and VTT. This project continues the good cooperation and supports the company's strategic goal of helping our customers utilize satellite and other geospatial data more efficiently.
